TERMS & CONDITIONS
By making a booking to stay at our bed and no breakfast, you are entering a legal contract that is subject to the following terms and conditions.

Must be 21 years of age to make reservations.

PRICES
The prices indicated on our website are per suite with published amenities.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES

Arrival: Check-in time on your first day is after 4 p.m. unless otherwise prearranged.

Departure: Unless varied by prior mutual agreement, we kindly request that you vacate your suite on the day of your departure, by 11 a.m. to allow us time to prepare it for our next guests.

CHILDREN
As always children are welcome. However, please note that the LouHazel Suite has an open staircase and may not be suitable for toddlers. (Please see pictures or call for additional questions.)

WHEELCHAIR USERS
We apologize that our guest suites are not suitable for individuals with walking or stair-climbing limitations. Both our suites are 125 years old or older. They are also both on the second story of the building and are therefore not suitable for wheelchair users.

DOGS AND PETS
Unfortunately we do not allow pets at The Boekhoff Guest Suites due to personal allergies.

NON SMOKING-NO CANDLE BURNING
We have a strict no-smoking policy throughout The Boekhoff Guest Suites. If any guest smokes in any part of the house, the guest agrees to pay for a professional tobacco and smoke odor removal service.

MAKING A BOOKING/CANCELLATION
Bookings at our bed and no breakfast typically run from one night to a week. However, we do offer longer extended stays when details can be scheduled around other guests. Please contact us directly if you are looking for a longer visit.

A reservation must be accompanied by the full payment. In the event of a cancellation, a $20.00 fee will not be refunded due to overhead & outside processing fees.

  1. If one month or more notice cancellation is provided, a full refund minus the $20.00 will be provided
  2. If less than one month notice cancellation is provided and there are no plans to reschedule, a 50% refund will be provided.
  3. If 24 hours or less of notice is given with a cancellation or guests do not show up for reservation, there will be no refunds.

Booking must be paid via PayPal at the time your reservation is scheduled online.

CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT
Third Party Bookings: If the person paying for the booking is different to the person staying in the Suite, the person who pays for the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, curtailment or non-arrival fees as well as damage or loss, and appropriate charges will be taken from their credit/debit card.

GIFT VOUCHERS
The BOEKHOFF GUEST SUITES Gift Vouchers may be used to secure a booking. Please note that once a booking has been made, our Cancellations and Non-Arrivals or Postponement conditions detailed above apply and, if we cannot re-let the room(s), the Gift Voucher will no longer be valid.

NON-AVAILABILITY OF ACCOMMODATION
We would only cancel your booking if your room was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the booking. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

DURING YOUR STAY
Our aim is to offer all our guests a relaxing and tranquil stay at our bed and no breakfast, and we kindly ask guests to respect the quiet enjoyment and relaxation of other guests.

Housekeeping: If your Booking is less than a week, housekeeping or access to your room from us would not be needed or required unless you specifically asked us for a special request or a repair requested by you. On longer stays, we would work out an agreeable time to access your suite for changing bed linen, emptying trash, replenishing towels & washing clothes, all with respect to your privacy.

Accidents happen: Please let us know immediately of any damage or spillage so that we can attempt a speedy repair or cleaning. Spillages are more easily rectified the sooner they are dealt with. Any significant breakage or damage may result in a charge for replacement, repair or specialist cleaning. If the damage means the room cannot be made available in good time for the next arriving guests, you may also be liable for our loss of income.

Missing / Lost items: Guests will be charged for any item taken from the rooms without our consents.

Liability: We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions.

Parking: Along city sidewalks is listed as 2 hour parking, However, the city ordinance is from 5 p.m. – 8 a.m. Monday – Friday. There are 2 parking lots 1/2 block from the Suites if off road side parking is preferred.
